• PD is the space between your eyeballs

It guarantees your lenses are aligned with your eyes for a vision that's comfy and clear.

PD (pupillary distance) is the measurement between the centers of your pupils. Think of it as the “address” your lenses need so the optical sweet spot lines up exactly with your eyes. If the PD is off, your vision won’t be as sharp, and it can even cause eye strain.

What about Seg Height?
For multifocal or progressive lenses, we also need to know where the reading power begins. That’s your seg height — measured from the bottom of the lens up to the center of your pupil. Without it, your “up close” zone might be too high, too low, or worse… totally useless.

How to Get These Measurements 🪄

  • 📞 Call your local wizard’s office (a.k.a. the optometrist where you had your last exam) and ask if they’ll share your PD and seg height. Most will.
  • 📸 DIY Method: For PD and Seg Height, just put your glasses on, snap a selfie looking straight ahead, and reply to the follow-up email we’ll send after your order — we’ll take it from there. Or, you can use an app, or simply grab a ruler and stand in front of a mirror (or ask a friend) to measure the millimeters between your pupils.

✨ Send us those numbers (and the selfie, if needed) — and we’ll make sure your lenses line up with you perfectly.
